Dressmaking - sew your first skirt

This is a great class if you want to Up and develop your sewing skills for dressmaking it’s the perfect next steps after learning the basics (following one of our beginners classes). We use a basic pattern and you have a choice of making an unlined A line or fitted skirt in the length of your choice* We guide you on fitting and finding the correct pattern size and making the appropriate adjustments to make a perfect skirt.  We will also in the first lesson do a 30 min initial basics session and if you are bringing your own machine let us know we will need you to check in a bit earlier.

  • Hem lines, waistbands, darts and many more tips and techniques from our experts.

A line or slim line skirt  or for more confident beginners we have a button through skirt. (you can also bring your own pattern of course)
