Fashion Recycle is a one-day workshop where you can learn the art of up-cycling and repurposing in a creative and fun environment. Bring your unwanted worn-out items and wardrobe drop outs to give them a new life with the help of our talented young team, you’ll redesign your items and pick up some cool skills along the way.

Bring along items that need a refresh or repair, and we’ll show you how to give them TLC and a new lease on life.
Learn practical up-cycling techniques, basic sewing, fabric embellishment, and creative redesign ideas.
Work with others in a collaborative, energetic setting that’s perfect for kids and teens.
Leave with confident skills you can apply to future projects, plus some wearable or display-worthy creations.

What you’ll do:
Assess and sort your items for up-cycling, repair, or redesign.
Receive tips on care and maintenance to keep your up-cycled items looking great.

This class is for all skill levels, but if you want to use the sewing machines you will need to know how to use them, this is not a learning to use a machine class. We will be encouraging hand sewing and machine sewing and also how you can give an item some wow with simple non sewing ideas.
