Get really into the summer vibe by joining us for this workshop to make your very own summer shorts a great class if you have started sewing and want to up your sewing skills. You need to have attended a few of our classes this isn’t suitable if you have not sewn before or are just starting out. Make sure you have completed our Sewing DL first and at least a couple of the beginner’s workshops.

IMPORTANT NOTE
You must have completed your Sewing Driving Licence or equivalent to attend this class.

What you need: This class includes your fabric and materials plus use of our equipment. If you want to bring your own fabric you will need 1 metre of fabric. Suitable fabrics are cottons and lightweight denims or chambray.

Skill level: Beginners and improvers

You will be learning:

• Cutting out a pattern
• Finishing neatly
• Fitting trouser legs
• Fitting your waistband and sewing that tricky elastic !
• Adding pockets
