Spring Sewing pick me ups
Hello from our sunny sewing studio this Easter!
Ahead of the Easter weekend we wanted just to quickly remind you next week we head right back into classes and courses. We hope you are ready to pick up where you left off with more sewing for the year ahead.
These sessions are designed for those with little or NO experience – BEGINNERS in the true sense, we start at ground zero and aim to start your creative journey.
Learn to Sew from £45
If you just need a refresher or a quick-start then the 3 hour Sewing Machine Taster is a good place to have a go at sewing. In our one day workshop and courses, sew your first simple project a drawstring bag, cushion and a fully lined toiletry bag.

Get all the best bits of our crochet taster and next steps for beginners all in one day!
This class combines our two most popular taster workshops into one day of crochet blasting loveliness! Starting with your introduction to the basic stitches and some useful information about yarns and needles all the stuff you need to know including the jargon busting too. And you’ll finish off making your first granny square.
Hand Embroidery £50

In this beginner’s taster workshop we deliver all that you need to start your creative embroidery journey from the basic stitches, transfer design techniques, types of thread and needles to use, splitting thread, hoops and more.
The ZOOMAROBE as we are calling it is easily becoming a more appealing option for our daily routines from home to home-office via the school run or a morning jog. These sessions are for anyone who has at least attended a beginner’s introductory workshop or have the basic knowledge and experience to use a sewing machine and have made a few simple sewing projects.

Sew your First Pyjama Pants workshop £110

A fabulous beginners project to take you to the next level sewing clothes for yourself or your family. You will be able to make them at the length of your choice, shorts, crop leg or full leg, you decide.
Dressmaking for Improvers
Classes for students who have made a few items and have gained good basic experience and are wanting to master skills in dressmaking. These sessions are suitable if you are at improver level and aim to advance your skills and techniques.
Market Tote Bag Workshop £95

Perhaps you’re looking for a new beach bag, or you just want to upgrade your tired shopping tote – then look no further as you can make your own using a patterned cotton fabric in this one day workshop for improvers. We will be using a printed fabric and some wadding to make a unique padded style shopper tote bag– perfect for holding all of your key items this summer..

Sew Your Own Cushions Workshop £95

Here is your chance to learn everything you need to know to make affordable and exactly to your design cushions. You will be learning about concealed zips and piping for creating that professional look.
Summer Dress Course £125

Summer dress course for Adults The Nap dress was so successful with our teens we have decided to run this for Adults too! Over 2 weeks you will make this fabulous dress, learn shirring and be able to whip these up for all your friends one of the most effective techniques and super satisfying you can even come and make this for your mini me! You will need to bring your own fabric but we will be making your pattern in the class.
Zip Masterclass Workshop £50
