Snip, snip, snip get set for kids’ Summer sewing…our first week starts Monday 23 July we are already booking up fast. We have some exciting and fun sewing projects for the kids to take on this Summer whether you have just a day or two or want to join us to really hone your sewing skills through the summer. To get you started on a just book a  Sewing Machine Driving Licence and then you can take one of our Next Steps classes.

Sewing Machine Driver’s Licence

Starting point to learn to sew, a fun and really original one-off class, it does not matter if you do not have a machine (Yet!) this is aimed to get you right on track and you will leave wanting to sew SEW much more, boys and girls all love this class!

Sew your first patchwork cushion

This workshop is super simple and teaches you how to cut your own pattern, join fabrics and sew buttonholes. Extending sewing skills and learning techniques that can be applied to your own projects.

Sew a Decorative Cactus Textile

There is nothing spiky about our decorative Cacti, soft and squishy and oh so pretty.  A cactus is a unique eco plant with special tricks to help it survive in the desert.  This is a great class to learn creative and decorative sewing tricks to your projects and make something fun to display or gift.

We have created in the meantime the perfect cushion/pillow to take with us anywhere complete with handles and secret pockets this is really the perfect cushion for days out, friend meets and of course holidays away. Be wary no pets are stowed away in this perfect bundle of softness!
